Haubstadt, May 31.-Three of seven brothers working on St. Peter and Paul's Catholic church, now under construction, were injured—one fatally—when a wall collapsed and sent scaffolding hurtling to the ground today.
Dead is August Ubelhor, 56, of St. Croix. The injured men, Edward Ubelhor, 52, and Joseph Ubelhor, 40, both of Evansville, were reported in good condition at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville tonight.
The brothers, expert stone masons, were laying stones near the roof of the one-story building when the accident occurred about 11:30 a.m. today.
