Our pastoral staff is here to assist in whatever way that we can.
Rev. Anthony "Tony" Ernst
Pastor
Fr. Tony was born and raised in Jasper, Indiana. He was ordained May 9, 1998. His assignments have included associate pastor of St. Joseph, Princeton, and Sts. Peter and Paul, Haubstadt, 1998; associate pastor of St. Joseph, Jasper, 1999; co-adjutor pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul, Haubstadt, November 2002; pastor, Holy Cross, Ft. Branch, St. Bernard, Snake Run and continue as co-adjutor pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul, April 2003; pastor, Holy Cross, St. Bernard, and Sts. Peter & Paul, July 2003; Pastor, St. John, Daylight and continue other assignments, July 2008; relieved as pastor of St. John, Daylight and continue other assignments, May 2009.
William "Bill" Brandle
Deacon
Deacon Bill was ordained on July 9, 2005. He has been assigned to our parish since his ordination and is a great asset to Fr. Tony. Deacon Bill not only helps at Masses each weekend but visits our parishioners who are in nursing homes.
John Pfister
Pastoral Associate
John joined our staff in October 2011 and will be assisting Fr. Tony in various liturgical areas as well as assisting all three of the parishes in our cluster with various duties.
Jane Rhodes
Business Manager
Jane joined our staff in and manages the financial and operation of our parish campus.
Kim Goedde
Communication Manager
Kim joined our staff in September 2005 and oversees our cemetery, our scrip program, our Hearts and Hands Ministry, and other outreach activities.
Jessica Church
Parish Secretary
Jessica joined our staff in October 2011 and works part-time assisting with secretarial duties in the parish office.
Laura Goedde
Coordinator of Religious Education
Laura joined our staff in and coordinates the faith formation of parishioners from preschool to adult for Holy Cross and Sts. Peter & Paul.
Stephanie Stoll
Assistant to the Coordinator of Religious Education
Stephanie joined our staff in and assists the Coordinator of Religious Education with the religious education program for Holy Cross and Sts. Peter & Paul.
Liz Hirsch
Sacramental Coordinator
Liz joined our staff in and coordinates the activities related to the sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion. She also teaches the baptismal prep class for parents and godparents.
Bryan Macke
St. Maria Goretti Youth Coordinator
Bryan joined our staff in 2011 and coordinates our youth ministry for Grades 6-12 from Holy Cross, St. Bernard, St. James, and Sts. Peter & Paul.
